Fossil fuels drag SA down energy index

SOUTH Africa is ranked 59th in the World Economic Forum’s global energy architecture performance index report released on Tuesday.

Norway, Sweden and France are first, second and third, respectively, while several sub-Saharan Africa countries are among the lowest ranked.
