Invitation to join Minister Susan Shabangu via video link from Cape Town in a media/Editors briefing on the outcomes of the hydraulic fracturing investigation

The Department of Mineral Resources herewith invite all Editors, and particularly Resources Editors to join Minister Susan Shabangu via video-link from Cape Town in a media briefing on the concluded hydraulic fracturing investigation report wherein she will detail government’s stance and way forward on the matter.

The briefing will take place ahead of a related discussion session with the National Assembly in Parliament on the same day and will have all information embargoed until 14h00 on September 11, 2012.

We therefore request that this invitation not be used as a news story and that you agree with the embargo.
