DA to insist Eskom invoke penalty clauses over Hitachi’s Medupi, Kusile delays

THE Democratic Alliance (DA) says it will write to Eskom CEO Brian Dames to insist that the appropriate penalty clauses be invoked in the contract with Hitachi Power Africa, which is building and installing the boilers at the Medupi and Kusile coal power stations.
